Whereas, a show cause notice was served to Shri Pranab Kumar Das, Assistant Engineer,
Dimoria Development Block, Kamrup(M) vide this department's letter No.E-267479/DFA/828692 dated
10/09/2024 for non-compliance of the transfer order issued vide this department's notification
No.456939/DFA/570469 dated 08/03/2024 vide which he was transferred from Dimoria Development
Block, Kamrup(M) to Rani (now Ramcharani) Development Block, Kamrup, and charged him with
insubordination, negligence of duty and violation of Rule 3 of the Assam Civil Services (Conduct)
Rules, 1965; and
Whereas, Shri Pranab Kumar Das, Assistant Engineer submitted his reply vide letter dated
12/09/2024 to the show cause notice stating the reasons and circumstances which led him not to join
in Rani (now Ramcharani) Development Block, Kamrup immediately; and
Whereas, Shri Pranab Kumar Das, Assistant Engineer has joined at Rani (now Ramcharani)
Development Block, Kamrup on 07-09-2024 afterbeing released by the Block Development Officer,
Dimoria Development Block on 06-09-2024; and
Whereas, the Department being satisfied with the explanation furnished by Shri Pranab
Kumar Das, Assistant Engineer, Rani (now Ramcharani) Development Block, Kamrup;
Now, therefore, the Governor of Assam is pleased to exonerate Shri Pranab Kumar Das,
Assistant Engineer, Rani (now Ramcharani) Development Block, Kamrup from all the charges leveled
against him. However, he is hereby warned to be more cautious in future and to obey Government
orders promptly.
Thus,the Departmental Proceeding drawn up against Shri Pranab Kumar Das, Assistant
Engineer is hereby disposed of.
