Whereas, Sri Siba Prasad Saikia (U/S), Assistant Engineer,
Central Jorhat Development Block, Chipahikhola, Jorhat was placed under suspension with effect
from the date of arrest i.e. 05-02-2025, vide Notification ECF No. 613643/DFA/1071405, dated 16-02-
2025 ; and
Whereas, considering the grave nature of the charges against Sri Siba Prasad Saikia (U/S),
the Disciplinary Authority has decided that re-instatement at this stage may not be in the interest of
public service; and
Now, therefore, the Governor of Assam is pleased to extend the period of suspension in
respect of Sri Siba Prasad Saikia (U/S), Assistant Engineer, Central Jorhat Development Block,
Chipahikhola, Jorhat for another period of 90 days w.e.f. 06.05.2025 to 03.08.2025, on expiry of
suspension order, issued vide Notification ECF No. 613643/DFA/1071405, dated 16-02-2025.
